This policy applies to all services purchased through our website or directly from NutriSage. By purchasing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Return Policy.
Nature of Our Services
NutriSage provides personalized nutrition guidance and consultation services. Unlike physical products, our services are intangible and are delivered through consultations, personalized plans, and ongoing support. The nature of our services requires special consideration regarding refunds and cancellations.
Our services include:
- Individual nutrition consultations (in-person or remote)
- Personalized meal planning and dietary guidance
- Multi-session guidance packages
- Educational workshops and group sessions
- Ongoing support and follow-up consultations
Cancellation Policy
Scheduled Consultations
For individual consultations and appointments:
- 24 Hours or More Notice: If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, you will receive a full credit that can be applied to a future appointment or refunded to your original payment method.
- Less Than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of 50% of the consultation fee. The remaining 50% will be credited to your account for future use.
- No-Show: If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full consultation fee will be forfeited with no refund or credit provided.
- Emergency Situations: We understand that genuine emergencies occur. In cases of documented medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a fair solution.
Multi-Session Packages
For guidance packages that include multiple sessions:
- Before First Session: You may cancel your package before your first scheduled session for a full refund, minus any administrative fees (maximum 5% of package price).
- After First Session: After your first session has been completed, you may cancel the remaining sessions. You will be charged the full price for completed sessions, and the remaining balance will be refunded to your original payment method.
- Partial Completion: If you have completed more than 50% of your package sessions, the package is considered substantially delivered, and no refund will be provided for the remaining sessions.
- Package Expiration: Multi-session packages must be used within the specified timeframe (typically 3-6 months from purchase). Unused sessions that expire will not be refunded unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Workshop and Group Sessions
For workshops and group sessions:
- 7 Days or More Notice: Full refund minus administrative fees (maximum 10 euros)
- 3-6 Days Notice: 50% refund of the registration fee
- Less Than 3 Days Notice: No refund provided
- Transferable: Workshop registrations may be transferred to another person with at least 48 hours notice before the event
Refund Policy
Eligibility for Refunds
You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- Cancellation within the timeframes specified in our Cancellation Policy
- Service not delivered as described or promised
- Technical issues on our end that prevent service delivery
- Cancellation of services by NutriSage
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Services purchased but not yet scheduled or delivered
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Services that have been fully delivered
- Digital materials, guides, or resources that have been accessed or downloaded
- Personalized plans or assessments that have been created and delivered
- Late cancellations and no-shows as specified in our Cancellation Policy
- Services cancelled after more than 50% completion
- Expired package sessions that were not used within the specified timeframe
Refund Processing
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for purchase
- Processing time is typically 5-10 business days from approval
- You will receive email confirmation when the refund has been processed
- Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- If you paid by bank transfer, we will require your bank account details to process the refund
Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our services. If you are not satisfied with your first consultation, please let us know within 48 hours, and we will work with you to address your concerns. This may include:
- Rescheduling with a different approach or focus
- Providing additional resources or support
- Offering a partial or full refund if we cannot meet your expectations
Our satisfaction guarantee applies only to your first consultation and must be claimed within 48 hours of the consultation. This guarantee does not apply to subsequent sessions or if you have already received personalized plans or materials.
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules can change. You may reschedule appointments according to the following guidelines:
- First Reschedule: Free of charge if done at least 24 hours in advance
- Subsequent Reschedules: May be subject to a rescheduling fee of 15 euros if done less than 48 hours in advance
- Multiple Reschedules: Excessive rescheduling (more than 3 times for the same appointment) may result in forfeiture of the appointment

Service Modifications by NutriSage
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule appointments due to:
- Illness or emergency affecting our staff
- Technical difficulties preventing service delivery
- Unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events
- Facility closures or unavailability
If we cancel or significantly reschedule your appointment, you will have the following options:
- Reschedule to an alternative date and time at no additional charge
- Receive a full refund of any fees paid for that specific appointment
- Receive a credit for future services with an additional 10% bonus value
We will make every effort to provide as much advance notice as possible and work with you to find a suitable solution.
Package Transfers
Multi-session packages are generally non-transferable between individuals. However, in exceptional circumstances, we may allow package transfers subject to the following conditions:
- Written request submitted at least 7 days before the next scheduled session
- Transfer fee of 25 euros to cover administrative costs
- The new recipient must meet our service eligibility requirements
- The new recipient must complete our standard intake process
- Approval is at the sole discretion of NutriSage
Disputes and Complaints
If you have concerns about our services or wish to dispute a charge:

We are committed to resolving all concerns fairly and promptly. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication.
Consumer Rights
This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights under Finnish and European Union consumer protection laws. Under EU law, consumers have the right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days of purchase.
However, please note that if you request that services begin during the withdrawal period and we deliver the services in full, you may lose your right to withdraw. By scheduling and attending consultations, you acknowledge that services have commenced.

Special Circumstances
Medical Reasons
If you need to cancel services due to medical reasons that prevent you from participating, we will work with you compassionately. We may request documentation from a healthcare provider and will offer options such as:
- Extended timeframe to use remaining sessions
- Partial refund based on unused sessions
- Conversion to remote consultations if applicable
- Pause of services with the ability to resume later
Relocation
If you relocate outside the Naantali area and can no longer attend in-person consultations, we offer:
- Conversion to remote video consultations at no additional charge
- Partial refund for unused sessions if remote consultations are not suitable
- Transfer of remaining sessions to another person (subject to transfer policy)

- Sending email notifications to active clients
Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy. However, changes will not affect refund requests for services purchased before the policy change.
